Natalie's Friend Party

We kicked off three consecutive weekends of birthday parties this month with Natalie's friend party. She was so excited to get her friends together for a couple hours. The only hard part was narrowing the list to seven (seven friends for seven year.)

We went with a PJs and Pancakes theme, having everyone over in the morning in their pajamas. Jason whipped up pancakes and I filled bowls with topping options. Instead of a cake, we just popped a candle in her pancake and she loved it!

 

I read a couple stories and they listened intently. (Shouldn't they be bouncing off the walls at this point? It is a birthday party...)

We played freeze dance.

We used puffy paint and fabric markers to decorate take-home fabric tote bags. Natalie made hers for the mini-doll we gave her for Christmas. Good idea!

We had such a good morning celebrating Natalie's golden birthday.
