Wearing Out Gavin

There's nothing like a vacation to test the lack of sleep limits for young kids. One of our children wiggles, sings, shakes and dances to keep herself awake when tiredness sets in. The other? He just passes out. Wherever. Whenever.

 A tired Natalie?
Yeah, she just hits the dance floor. With streamers, of course.

A tired Gavin?
Um, Dad, could you move your napkin over a bit?
Yeah, it's comfy right about here.

We've pushed Gavin to the point of passing out before - at a summer picnic, for example. Or the time he fell asleep while tubing behind the boat. By himself.

But this is the first time he's sleep-tested so many different situations in the matter of one week.

See for yourself:

At the Enchanted Garden restaurant
(Later Marko brought him a folded table cloth as a pillow and another as a blanket.)

A more comfortable position that same night

Walking back to the ship at Nassau

At Animator's Palate restaurant

A post-dinner nap continuation

Walking around Hollywood Studios

At the Little Mermaid show, Hollywood Studios
(Yep, missed the whole 17 minutes show.)

6:40 a.m. plane ride home

Sleep tight, Gavi.
