Each spring we like to visit the new batch of chicks on my parents' farm. The kids love learning about them from Nana and taking turns holding the little birds. This year, they were much more comfortable holding them on their own, helping the chicks feel secure while at the same time being extremely gentle. At one point, Gavin's chick jumped over onto Natalie's lap and stood on her chick, which set them both laughing. The chicks liked me the least, with my big camera lens in their faces. Oh, and the flash.
