Happy Easter 2013

We had a great Easter this year and love how much the kids get out of it. Gavin sang at church on Good Friday and we finally made it to the 7 a.m. sunrise Easter Sunday service. It was beautiful and we're going to try to attend each year. We spent most of the rest of the day resting, playing and spending some time outside, followed by Easter dinner at the Petersons'.

He is risen!

He is risen indeed!

Decorating eggs with Ansley Saturday morning

I love how even the green and brown eggs from my parents' farm turn change color so drastically.

They're beautiful!

Time for the finishing touches.

Ready for church Easter morning.

So cute!

After three years of wishing the bunny left candy in the eggs, Natalie finally wrote a note. We didn't have the heart to disappoint. Thank you late-night Walgreen's.

We didn't have fresh carrots, so Natalie left out a glass of carrot juice. Spoiled rabbit.

Hunting for eggs after church. That was NOT an easy wait.

Natalie was so happy to find earrings from the bunny. And candy, of course.
