After making Paige's cowl for Christmas, I wanted to try another French Press Knits cowl pattern for myself. I fell in love with the cables in the Breckenridge cowl pattern and decided it was time to learn how to cable. I picked out Spud and Chloe Outer yarn in Ballerina, dug out a cabling needle in my stash and turned to YouTube for some how-to videos. Thank goodness for YouTube.
This piece required more concentration than some of my other recent projects. In fact, I had to rip out my stitches twice before I finally even got it cast on correctly. After that, however, it was very fun to work on.
I'm so happy with how it turned out. The cabling is wonderful, I love the color and it's very cozy to wear.
