I’m posting my favorite products and programs because they’re just that – my favorites. I'm not being compensated by anyone. Shame though.
When it comes to pediatric doctor visits, I’m all about bringing lists. From the first doctor visits with a crying baby Natalie to the most recent visit Monday with both kids for their annual checkup, there’s no way I’m remembering all of my questions and concerns when I’m juggling kids, holding them down for shots or distracting them with books.
Thankfully, I found the doctor visit worksheets on Baby Center years ago. These handy sheets print out in a flash, I fill them out on a short break at work the day of the visit and stash them in my purse or diaper bag for later. Then, at the appointment, I just pull them out and fire away with questions when it’s my turn.
The worksheets do more than help you ask questions. They include numerous questions the doctor is likely to ask you about your child. It gets you thinking about your child’s sleeping and eating habits, communication level, general health and physical abilities long before your doctor starts asking you about it.
I love them because it helps me quickly and thoroughly prep for that short doctor visit, making the most out of my time in the office and helping me get the best care for my children. Doctors are busy, they have a lot on their minds. This is one way I can make sure to do my part
Not to mention it’s free and easy!
