Fave Friday: Pandora

I’m posting my favorite products and programs because they’re just that – my favorites. I'm not being compensated by anyone. Shame though.

If you've played around with Pandora at all, you've discovered the wonders of creating your own free music station online. I've used it for several years at work, hopping back and forth between genres based on my mood. But it wasn't until a couple months ago that I finally figured out I should be using it at home. Rather than buying a bunch of children's music CDs, Pandora makes it possible to listen to all of your favorites ... er, your kids' favorites ... at just the click of a mouse. I just grab the laptop on my way down to the family room, get Pandora going and we enjoy a fresh selection of music whenever we like. Perfect.

Visit Pandora to create your own station. Simply create a login and then type in the name of one of your favorite children's artists. May I suggest Laurie Berkner, Raffi, Joanie Bartels or Go Fish? In our house, we're presently hooked on the "Snacktime" album by the Bare Naked Ladies - a discovery I made while listening to Pandora, naturally.

What are you favorite kids' music artists? (I'll add them to my Pandora.)

Thanks for the info! I haven't heard of Pandora before so this will be fun to try out.
