Connecting Again

The kids and I met up with a good friend from college last Saturday for a fun afternoon at the Minnesota Children's Museum. The last time we'd seen each other was her wedding several years ago. Since then, we've become moms and seen our lives change in countless ways. Meeting each other's kids and catching up on stories made me realize that even though so many things are different, our friendship has traveled through those changes just fine. She's one of those people who makes you feel good, happier, just by being around her. Throw in an adorable toddler and a funny husband and they're excellent company on a Saturday afternoon.
