Banana ice cream

Caution: This post may have a profound effect on your summer.

Did you know you can make delicious "ice cream" out of just one ingredient?

Yep.

Frozen over-ripe bananas.

Be still my heart.

Here's the best-kept banana secret.

1. Peel and slice several over-ripe bananas.

 

2. Spread the slices out on a plate and freeze for a couple hours.

3. Blend the slices in a food processor until creamy.


4. Serve!


It tastes divine and truly, not far off from ice cream. Try adding peanut butter, almond butter, cocoa powder, berries or whatever else inspires you.
