Tonight we met Eric Metaxas, author of "Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy," a New York Times Bestseller about the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Eric spoke at the First Choice Clinic annual meeting tonight in Fargo, charming the crowd with his wit and then drawing us in with his faith.
As he spoke about Bonhoeffer, a brilliant theologian and outspoken opponent to the Nazi regime, he urged the audience to not look at Bonhoeffer's life as just a tragedy. While he did die at the hands of the Nazis, he lived proclaiming the good news of Christ and what it means to be a follower. He modeled to all of us what it means to truly surrender your life to God and serve him with everything you've been given.
