Sweet, Sweet Summer

At a recent Target trip, I ran across a gel-canister ice cream maker. It was half price, so naturally I couldn't resist. I'd been pondering the purchase of one for a while, thinking it would be a fun way to make natural ice cream and get the kids involved in the kitchen.

We tried it out Sunday after we all toweled off from playing outside in the rain. In half an hour we had bowls of delicious vanilla ice cream. It was super easy to make and even better to eat!
