Gavin started pulling himself up on objects and just walking across the room Friday at daycare and continued all weekend. In fact, he and Natalie were playing in their room Friday night after supper and she came running into the kitchen. "Gavin walked out of the room!" she squealed.
Sure enough, there was Gavin sitting in the hall, all proud of himself for getting out there on his own two legs.
It's just another sign of his stepping out of babyhood. We packed away his highchair on the first of the month, moving him to a booster across the table from Natalie. He loves being even more a part of the dinner table interaction now. He has also started signing "more" regularly now and signed for the first time unprompted at lunch yesterday. Apparently, mom wasn't dishing out food fast enough!
Oh, and did I mention he's walking?
