In the middle of all struggles, you can usually find some pretty good laughs. I had mine this week as we prepare for the biggest flood our community has seen in hundreds of years.
While sprucing up our sump pump situation and plugging our drains in the basement, we decided to remove the toilet so we could plug the drain directly. At least that was our plan.
After unscrewing the toilet and removing the tank, this is a more accurate portrayal of what happened:
Pardon my French, but who the hell glues a toilet to the floor?!
Thankfully, with the help of Jason and our brother-in-law, Dan, and a few hammers, I'm happy to report the toilet is in 1,759.2 pieces and the drain is plugged.
