Top 10 things Natalie does that crack me up:
10. Says “upsa daisy” while climbing up the stairs. We have no idea where she got this from and she’s been doing it for a couple weeks.
9. Puts our dirty clothes away in the hamper if she finds them lying on the floor and cleans dishes off the coffee table.
8. Cries if a nurse even looks at her, but can rip really, really sticky band aids off her own body without shedding a tear. She’s a tough little cookie, with a flare for drama.
7. Screams and laughs like a crazy woman when playing hide and seek. The more you spook her, the better.
6. Laughs when we do our (really bad) impersonations of Cookie Monster and the Letter of Day.
5. Eats vegetables like I eat chocolate. I laugh every time I see the Hidden Valley ad with the vegetable “ice cream” truck serving cones of veggies. Natalie would SO love that and the featured veggie buffet.
4. Dances whenever she sees her favorite book, “Fancy Nancy,” which, coincidentally, has nothing to do with dancing. I think she just likes the rhyme.
3. Shoots me looks I didn’t expect until she was at LEAST 12.
2. Turns an envelope into a hat simply by opening it and sticking it on her head.
1. Looks in her pants if you tell her the toys are in the drawers. (That’s mom’s fault for often calling her pants her drawers. I blame you for that one, Collette!)
