De Smet, Anyone?
We recently surprised the kids with a weekend trip with friends to De Smet, S.D., one of the hometowns of Laura Ingalls Wilder. We planned the trip for weeks, all without the kids knowing.
I had a hunch Gavin would enjoy the weekend even though he's only read a few chapters and watched the TV series pilot movie.
But Natalie? Oh, Natalie. I really couldn't wait for her reaction.
