Our First Harvest

Technically our first harvest from Our Wee Garden was a strawberry the kids and I divided three ways by each taking a tiny bite. It was almost too small to be delicious, but at least a taste of what was to come.

We enjoyed our first ‘real’ harvest Tuesday night, with salads of green leaf lettuce. The kids ran out to the garden before dinner, each carrying a colander. I cut just enough lettuce to make us each a salad to complement our pasta dinner.

It wasn’t much. But it was delicious.
