Trip Number Two

We spent another three days in the Cities, enjoying Gavin's second trip. We lived it up at the Mariott (thanks Priceline), went swimming four times, spent hours wandering through both zoos and, of course, hit up the meatball store (IKEA) and the mall. What a fun time as a family and a welcome break from all of the stresses of work schedules, the thesis and selling the house.

Here's a few shots I thought you might enjoy:

Natalie and me catching a bite to eat at TGI Friday's after a long afternoon at the Minnesota Zoo.

Adorable Eddie and Natalie. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to meet up with his family each spring at Como. You're a great friend, Erika!

Natalie and Gavin ready for some relaxation and snuggle time after the Como Zoo and another dip in the pool, for Natalie. Gavin, your first time swimming is right around the corner.

She looks so serious here, but was actually squealing with delight at the Minnesota Zoo farm -- running from barn to barn to see all of the animals. These are some teenage hogs. The new babies were cute, but the mamas, well, not so much.

We love meeting up with you guys at the zoo, too! It's fun for us to get a peek at what to expect next with Eddie. Natalie is always a few months ahead developmentally. We got the go-ahead from his doctor yesterday to try potty training. I'm so excited to hear that Natalie is having success!! How can our babies being grow up so quickly?!

Love reading your blog!
