I've been meaning to put together a dress-up box for Natalie for months, but thanks to all the craziness that came with my pregnancy, the project has been back burnered for a long time. Finally, on Monday I pulled an empty rubbermaid container off our laundry room shelf and ran around the house filling it with old shirts, hats, purses, dresses, aprons and shoes. With Natalie in tow, I headed to her bedroom and placed the box in the middle of the room. No instructions needed! That girl was all smiles for the next 45 minutes, trying on several combinations of outfits and asking me to photograph each one. "Pickles and ice cream" she'd cry at the camera with a huge grin. It's now tied with playdough as the favorite activity!
Sidenote: Jason filled me in yesterday that while Natalie won't let him "help" with tasks such as diapering and putting on her mittens, but she does let him "assist". As in, "Can I help you put on your diaper, Natalie?" "NOOOOOO!" "Can I assist you?" "Yes, daddy." She cracks me up!

She's just too darn cute. I can totally picture Jason and Nattie have that little conversation. How hilarious.
