Gymnastics Fun

At Christmas, Dwain and Benita gave the kids gift certificates for American Gold Gymnastics and we were able to use them this summer. The kids had been to the gym for birthday parties before (and loved it), but had never taken lessons there.

The verdict?

Possibly more fun than a birthday party.

They had an amazing time going twice a week to lessons and I was very impressed with the improvement I saw in both of them. During the hour lessons they spent a fair amount of time stretching and strength training and then took turns at different stations around the gym, including beam, uneven bars, tramps and floor. With kids all over the gym cartwheeling, flipping and doing handstands, it was quite the atmosphere.

I definitely think we'll be back for lessons down the road.
